Rosemary Butterworth and John Butterworth are the founders of The Southern Cross Academy of Light, which started about 15 years ago.

John is co founder of the Southern Cross Academy of Light and is a Master of the Gongs, and is proficient in many types of sound healing. As an landscape architecht he is enjoying designing and buidling the garden and farm at Jacerandah Haven, a Spiritual retreat in the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia which is currently coming into being.
Terri is Rosemary’s PA and is one the front line of the Southern Cross Academy of Light, she is responsible for all the accounts, and any major paperwork that needs to be attended to. Terri is a very conscious and aware person the wheels behind the scenes that keeps things turning. We don’t know what we would do without Terri, she is truly our ROCK. She also currently works at Little Steps Publishing.
Ann is the co editor of our wonderful ShinningBRIGHT Magazine, and is responsible for everything it takes to get our amazing magazine published, and distributed to all our subscribers. Ann comes to us with amazing Spiritual knowledge and had previously been involved with the marketing and promotions of a major community newspaper publication. She is a Counsellor, Celebrant, and is currently working at Little Steps Publishing.
Heidi brings magic into the office with the high vibration she carries. Heidi has a successful Astrology practice and writes a regular column in ShinningBRIGHT Magazine. She uses her many talents to create our website, the weekly newsletter, designs our flyers and co ordinates events. Heidi is also an Angel and Spirit artist and paints only from her visions.

Peggy has been on the Spiritual path for many years and really walks her talk. Peggy also works in the office and is responsible for organising our paperwork and therefore also orgaising our systems. Peggy is extremely knowlegable when it comes to what our office needs in order to function efficiently as she previously helped run her extremely successful family publishing business.
Deepti is a beautiful and powerful soul she does service in the office regulary and is very much appreciated. Deepti also comes to us with much knowledge as she has been working in the corporate industry for years leaving her Spiritual marks on everything she touches.
Despina is a wonderful and powerful Spirit she gives service to the Academy at our the weekly gatherings and at times by conducting the evenings. We also really appreciate her valuable essence and time she gives to the Academy
